Testing the residual current device (RCD)

The tester is equipped with a dedicated RCD button, which allows checking the correct operation of the residual current device.

How to perform the test?

1️⃣ Connect the tester to a working electrical socket.

2️⃣ Press and hold the RCD button for 3 seconds.

3️⃣ If the residual current device activates and disconnects the voltage – it means the installation is functioning correctly.

4️⃣ If the switch does not disconnect – it may be damaged. In this case, contact a qualified electrician to fix the fault.
