Hydraulic oil is used as the working fluid. This solution helps reduce the physical effort required from the installer compared to working with mechanical crimping pliers.

It is forbidden to use the following as working fluid:

• corrosive active substances;
• oil mixed with water.

To perform crimping, follow these 11 steps:

1. Remove the insulation from the cable or wire to the required length.
2. Insert the stripped wire into the terminal or sleeve, making sure the sizes match.
3. Remove the pin from the head.
4. Place the die halves in the head. The die number should correspond to the terminal number.
5. Place the wire with the terminal in the groove between the die halves.
6. Insert the pin into the head.
7. Turn the screw to the "ON" position — 180° clockwise.
8. Move the lever until the ends of the die touch. Crimp sleeves from the center toward the ends. When the die ends touch, do not move the lever.
9. Turn the screw to the "OFF" position — 180° counterclockwise.
10. Remove the crimped wire from the die. If necessary, remove the pin from the head.
11. Fold the handles of the device.

Safety precautions:

• it is forbidden to work with live wires or disassemble the device during crimping;
• if the device has not been used for a long time, the working fluid should be replaced;
• in case of hydraulic oil leakage during crimping, immediately turn the screw to the "OFF" position, remove the wire from the die and fold the handles;

• during storage:

  the environment should not contain corrosive substances;

  the device should be filled with working fluid;

  the head should be coated with a preservative agent.
