Description

Hydraulic oil is used as the working fluid. This solution reduces the physical strain on the operator compared to working with mechanical pliers.

The following substances must not be used as working fluid:

  • substances with active corrosive properties;

  • oil containing water impurities.

Specifications:

  • Drive type: Hydraulic

  • Handle material: Rubber (TPR)

  • Pressing force: 8 t

  • Piston stroke: 12 mm

Insulated terminals:

  • 4 mm²
  • 6 mm²
  • 10 mm²
  • 16 mm²
  • 25 mm²
  • 35 mm²
  • 50 mm²
  • 70 mm²
  • Working fluid: Hydraulic oil #20
  • Type of terminals: Insulated terminals

To perform crimping, follow these 11 steps:

  1. Remove insulation from the cable or wire to the required length.

  2. Insert the stripped wire into the terminal or sleeve (ensure size compatibility).

  3. Remove the pin from the head.

  4. Insert the die halves into the head. The die number should match the terminal number.

  5. Place the wire with the terminal in the groove between the die halves.

  6. Insert the pin back into the head.

  7. Turn the screw to the "ON" position (rotate clockwise by 180°).

  8. Operate the lever until the die ends meet. Crimp the sleeve from the center towards the ends. When the dies meet, stop moving the lever.

  9. Turn the screw to the "OFF" position (rotate counterclockwise by 180°).

  10. Remove the crimped wire from the die (if necessary, remove the pin from the head).

  11. Fold the handles of the tool.

Safety precautions:

  • Do not work with live wires or disassemble the tool during crimping.

  • If the tool has not been used for a long time, replace the working fluid.

  • In case of hydraulic oil leakage during crimping, immediately turn the screw to the "OFF" position, remove the wire from the die, and fold the handles.

  • During storage:

    • the environment must not contain corrosive substances;

    • the tool must remain filled with working fluid;

    • the head should be coated with a protective preservative.
